Post by Zar » Sun Jan 19, 2020 8:35 pm

Hi,

You deleted my previous topic about the sound issue with Dolby Digital plus channels (french T2 channels) on Vmade T2+S2+C-X3 STB without giving me a clear answer.
Will it be supported in next update of firmware ? Do you attend to make an update ?

please answer me, I won't give up.... even if you delete this topic again...

The receiver of this software has always supported the normal playback of Dolby video and audio. Some specific channels have abnormal audio. Please check whether it is a specific audio format. If a specific audio format appears, please provide us. We will Will be repaired in the latest software update

Oh I'm glad you answered thank you very much !!!

In this link you can find every informations you need about french channels : https://digitalbitrate.com/dtv.php?live ... =2&lang=fr

There is also some sound sample if you want to test it. As you can see most of the channels use "E-AC3" codecs also named stereo Dolby Digital Plus.

I wan wait to get the next update :p

I uploaded the files on cowtransfert, It look like this hoster is not not blocked in china.

https://cowtransfer.com/s/dbd4ff30485e43 (the file is available only 7 days)

You'll find in this archive 3 recorded video of few seconds and 2 pictures to get system informations.

I hope it's enough, but if it's not, just tell me what you need.

Thanks.

After verifying the video file you provided, we found that this format (E-AC3) Dolby Video is not within the scope of X3 analysis and does not support E-AC3 format audio analysis

It means you can't fix it with an update ?

Yes, because the hardware configuration of X3 does not allow to parse the E-AC3 audio format, the software also cannot parse the E-AC3 audio format, so it cannot be achieved by upgrading
